Minimalism

Minimalism

Philosophy

Buddhism teaches that attachment leads to suffering. Minimalism is the antidote to attachment. If you can accept that all things change, you can lead a more peaceful life by enjoying the present moment without grasping for the past or reaching for the future, but just enjoying the present moment. That doesn’t mean you don’t consider the past or plan for the future, but that you do so skillfully by observing what actions you can take to get to where you want to go and adjust when new circumstances arise.
